We work mainly to commission, producing one off pieces based around our clients’ own ideas. We endeavour to work with Scottish sourced hardwoods – most often trees that have succumbed to Scotland’s harsh blasts of weather. Ochre & Wood specialises in designing and making bespoke furniture turning our hands to anything from a small coffee table to a full kitchen. Based in rural Aberdeenshire, Ochre & Wood makes hand-crafted furniture for clients across the UK.
Ochre & Wood also undertakes restoration and repair work, giving your cherished pieces a renewed lease of life.

Commissioning
Bring your dream to life!
When you decide to commission a piece, we will arrange meetings firstly to discuss your ideas and then to go through our sketch designs and a price quote for your approval. Before commencing work, we ask for a deposit, normally 50% of the agreed price, with the balance being payable on delivery.
